At CES, we provide engineering services including Photo Voltaic Systems, Battery Banks, Electrical Solutions & Building Automation Solutions. We are also manufacturing domestic appliances with research carried out on various local manufacturing systems. We also providing cooling solutions under the ECOFROST brand. Smart buildings and sustainable design are our aim and direction. Our company employs around 25 staff members at present and has been operational since 2011 as part of the Swarna Samanala Group of companies which began in 1986.

We are a constantly evolving company ready to take any challenge at any given time. This relentless pursuit towards achieving the ultimate performance & excellence lead us towards expanding our horizons in many areas in the country. 

Therefore, currently we have a healthy portfolio of both domestic, commercial as well as utility level customers. Thus, providing more than 10MW to the national grid stands testimony of the unprecedented level of customers that Creative ECO Solution has gained.

 

Domestic Solutions

Solar PV systems installed at residences that fall under the domestic tariff belong to this category. Typical Solar PV capacities are below 10 kW. Typical Payback – 3 to 4 years

Industrial Solutions

PV systems installed at commercial buildings which fall under General Purpose, Industrial Purpose, Hotel, Government tariff rates belong in this category. Typical Solar PV capacities are 10–10,000kW, Typical Payback – 6 to 10 years.

ENGINEERING TEAM

Mr. Lakmal M Dunuke

C.Eng , MSc (UOM), BSc (Hons, First Class,UOM), CMA (SL), MIET, MIESL

​

Mr. Dunuke holds a BSc.(Hons) Engineering degree with a first class (Hons) in Electrical Engineering field from the University of Moratuwa in 2008 and a MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa in 2012. 

 

In year 2016 he obtained his Charted Electrical Engineer status and became a cooperate member of the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka. He is also a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology of UK. He has worked for seven years with a reputed telecommunication operator in Sri Lanka in the field of Telecommunication Power and Infrastructure Systems. He also has experience in power distribution systems.

 

During last ten years he has worked as procurement expert and in many technical evaluation committees for purchasing Battery banks, Rectifiers, Diesel generators, Hybrid power systems and small-scale renewable energy systems (Solar PV).

 

He has involved in many projects in the capacity of procurement expert, project manager and consultant.

Major Projects Handled:

  • 6000W solar PV based net metering solutions in 18 Telecommunication Radio base stations 

  • Designing, Installation and commissioning 700 diesel Generators in Telecommunication Radio base stations 

  • 4nos of 3kW wind turbine Installation and commissioning

  • Installation and commissioning of battery banks in telecommunication radio base stations , total capacity of more than 400,000 AH ( 400 AH, 800AH)

  • Small Hydro Power Plant development- Huluganga Sri Lanka (Design)

  • Present Status of Energy Efficiency Labeling of Appliances in Sri Lanka

  • Feasibility Analysis on Wind Power Potential in Ambewela for Electrification in Sri Lanka

  • Testing and commissioning of more than 600 Solar PV small scale renewable energy systems (total 4MW +)

  • Developing specification for Advance metering infrastructure for utility

Mr. Maneesha L M Kumbukage

BEng (ECSE) Australia

​

After graduating from Monash University, Australia, specialising in electronics, Mr. Kumbukage has worked extensively on Smart Phased Array Antennas with Prof. Nemai Karmakar and later co-authored books and published articles on smart antennas. 

 

Moving on to building Automation, in 2014 he founded Nexhom (Pty) Ltd in Melbourne Australia a company providing home and building automation solutions using CBUS and related technologies, including building security systems. 

 

He is currently involved in Smart Home solutions, Green Building Design strategies, Construction Management and High-performance buildings, both as an Engineer and the CTO of Creative Eco Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.

Mr. Prasanna M. Bandara

NDT (Electrical)

​

Having a National Diploma in Technology (Electrical Engineering) in 2007 from the University of Moratuwa, he has also obtained a City & Guilds Post Graduate diploma and obtained Chartered Engineering UK qualification. He is also Member of Energy Manager Association in Sri Lanka -SLEMA.

 

Mr. Bandara has more than six years of experience in Energy Management & Renewable Energy sector related to manufacturing, hotels, hospitals and commercial buildings and is also a level certified IR thermographer. 

 

Experience & skill in development on non-conventional renewable energy (solar pv, solar thermal/biomas/wind/mini hydro /waist energy) based power plants and tri -genaration & CHP projects.

 

He is an expert in energy management systems & low-energy design (industrial and commercial) and Energy Audits (for ISO 50001 standard for energy)

Major Project Experiences

  • Design and installations over 4MW is Domestic & Commercial Solar PV projects

  • Design and installation of 200kW PV Systems at the JAT Holding Factory in Kahathuduwa

  • Design and installation of 250kW in Nildalu Tea factory in Rathnapura

  • Design and installation of 120 kW on-grid solar PV project at Rathmalana Ideal Workshop.

  • Design and Installation of 1.5MW roof-top on grid   Solar PV project at Pugoda Nelana Chicken Farm
